Yellow Star Wavespell of Creativity

Lamat Poem

Hello everyone!

I am just back in Houston after a great experience with a wonderful group in Argentina, this time joined only by women from the US. While hosting trips to Peru for several years, this was my “maiden group voyage” to Argentina and it was very special for me on a personal level as it was the first time that I shared my guides and sacred sites where I was initiated almost two decades ago. It was truly magical!

Most of our stay in the Province of Cordoba was in Capilla del Monte and I want to share this photo in particular as a great symbol of the Prophecy of the Condor and the Eagle. Patricia Carman and Ines were hosting a group from Buenos Aires on the same dates we were there so we all met, women from South (Condor) and North (Eagle) America, to enjoy a relaxing sound ceremony with Daniel Brower, founder of the Circle of Sound.

Afterwards, Ines invited us to work with clay making free-form sculptures to connect with our creativity in a playful way. Part of the experience was with our eyes covered, which made it even more special. Sharing today about the Yellow Star archetype, this was a great opportunity to connect with our creativity in a non-judgmental environment and with no expectations on a particular outcome. It was just fun and profound at the same time!

A few days later, when back in Buenos Aires, we went to a very beautiful place by one of the rivers in the Delta to enjoy, among others, a healing vocalization ceremony with Patricia and her husband Carlos. The first sound ceremony in Cordoba was with crystal bowls where we were surrounded by mountains. The second sound ceremony near Buenos Aires was with our voices and we were surrounded by water. While we were only groups of women in both cases, the ceremonies were led by men, one from the North Hemisphere and the other one from the South.

Carlos just published his bookPnumana: a shaman in Buenos Aires” in English, which is available on Amazon. It’s a short and simple book filled with messages for the soul and part of the experiences also happened in Capilla del Monte : -)

I have lots and lots of photos and experiences to share from the trip, which I will do in future messages.

End of this 260-day Tzolkin Cycle

The Yellow Star Wavespell is the last one of this cycle, which ends on December 19, 2015. In the next 13 days, we have the opportunity to review where we currently are since its beginnings on April 4, 2015. How did you experience these, roughly, nine months? What were the highlights? Have you accomplished your goals? What were the main lessons learned? What are you ready to let go of before the new cycle starts?

This invitation will be sent to local contacts separately for our Winter Solstice ceremony on Sunday, December 20, 2015. The actual Solstice this year is on the 22nd. We will celebrate it on the first day of the new Tzolkin cycle with a Despacho ceremony as we close 2015 and set our intentions for next year.

Final reflection…

With all the sad events that have been recently occurring worldwide, I would like to finalize today with this invitation: let’s put our attention on love and growth instead of fear and destruction. Rather than focusing on tragedies and the “bad guys”, let’s treat each other with kindness and respect as we envision a better world for all.

Energy Flows where Attention Goes“. May we find peace in our hearts in spite of the turbulence around and spread good vibes for the shift to happen! Love and healing to all the families affected by these events in the different regions around the world.

In Lak’esh means “I am another yourself!”, a Mayan greeting that recognizes the Divine in each living Being. It’s a message of Unity that reminds us that, when we give, we are also receiving. In this way, the Mayan honored and respected each other, reinforcing the belief that we are all interconnected: what we do to others and to our environment will also affect ourselves in the end…

Munay means both ‘Love’ and ‘Beauty’ in Quechua, the language of the Incas. Munay, translated as ‘To love’, is one of the three principles of the Andean way.
