White Dog Wavespell – Self Love

by Mariela Maya

Moving to Sedona, Arizona

Thanks to all that came to the farewell gathering last weekend and to the ones that joined us in spirit. This is our last week in Houston as we get ready to embark on a new Adventure!

Our last drum circle in the Montrose area will be this upcoming Saturday evening. The Eagle & Condor Drum Circle was created in July of last year as a way to bring together traditions from the North and the South into a sacred circle. Much gratitude to Tim Sr. Big Aho and Tim Jr. for this great time sharing our monthly full moon ceremonies since then. The drum circle will continue in Houston so stay tuned for future gatherings.

The Winter Solstice will be celebrated in Round Top on Saturday, December 16. Details will be sent to local contacts closer to the date. I will not be here by then, but Pam and Cathy will be hosting a beautiful ceremony to keep the flame of our community spirit alive.

Thanks again for these wonderful fifteen years and I will let you know when I come to visit. Look forward to seeing you in Sedona, Houston, Peru, Argentina or in one of the trips for the soul.

Tupananchiskama! Until we see each other again.

Tzolkin Daily Planner 2018

Mainly for the ones located overseas, please remember that you can pre-order your new planner if you want to receive it before the cycle starts, as we may experience some delays due to the move. The planners are coming in from the printer this week and we will ship them beginning of next week.

The theme for the next 13 days is Love!

How important it is to have compassion and to love one another, to be of service and have a community spirit! But how often do we also consider self-love? Everything in life is based on relationships, starting with the relationship we have with our own self. The more loving and caring we are with oneself, the easier it becomes to truly love others. From a heart-centered place, we connect with others from our true and authentic self. Have you been kind and compassionate to your own self lately?

Read first what our little caterpillar friend is going through in these days and then what Loving Butterfly has to say about it:

The 20 coloring butterflies made for each Wavespell in the previous cycle are posted on this page so you can continue playing. You will find them in the glyphs order from 1 (Red Dragon) to 20 (Yellow Sun) including a brief reference to their meaning.

May 24, 2017 to February 7, 2018 (to read about the proposal and format for this cycle and dowload useful documents click here).

NEW RELEASE! Tzolkin Daily Planner for the new cycle that starts on February 8, 2018 is on its way.  You can pre-order it here.

In Lak’esh means “I am another yourself!”, a Mayan greeting that recognizes the Divine in each living Being. It’s a message of Unity that reminds us that, when we give, we are also receiving. In this way, the Mayan honored and respected each other, reinforcing the belief that we are all interconnected: what we do to others and to our environment will also affect ourselves in the end…

Munay means both ‘Love’ and ‘Beauty’ in Quechua, the language of the Incas. Munay, translated as ‘To love’, is one of the three principles of the Andean way.

I invite you to subscribe to the series of messages on Wavespells sent every 13 days.  To get in tune with the current cycle, please use the Daily Tzolkin.
