White Dog Wavespell of Love

The Power of Love in Andean Cosmovision

The Andean path is a beautiful journey of conscious connection with Nature and all existence.

In Quechua, the language of the Incas, there are three centers or principles that help us to expand our consciousness and shift our perception and the way we experience reality:

Yachay means Wisdom and it refers to our mental body beyond the intellect, information and knowledge. It’s the way we perceive reality in heightened and expanded levels of awareness.

Munay means Love and it refers to our emotional body and the way we connect with oneself and with one another. It’s a deeper feeling of belonging and appreciation for Life and all its living beings. When we expand in Munay, we live in beauty and experience oneness in our hearts. In Munay, we know we are part of the Web of Life!

Llankay means Service and it refers to our physical body and the way we act in the world. It’s how we live our Purpose and carry out our mission in this lifetime.

When these three centers interact, we feel empowered and at peace and we live in Ayni or Sacred Reciprocity with all creation.

In these intense times felt as turmoil on many levels, it is important more than ever to integrate these principles within by reconnecting with the wisdom of the ages, opening our hearts and being present, while gaining clarity on who we are and what we are here to do.

Astronomical and Astrological Events

We had a beautiful gathering last Sunday celebrating the Spirit of Autumn and connecting with our intention on what we are ready to release and let go of during this Season. The actual Equinox falls this time today September 23, 2015 when day and night are of equal length inviting us to stay in balance.

As we embodied the White Dog Wavespell by moving it in our 13 joints, we shared how to get in tune with this cycle and its energy shifts.

Mercury Retrograde – September 17 to October 9, 2015

We have three weeks to slow down and catch up with what we have pending. I loved how the group said it, since Mercury seems to be in “reverse”, it’s a time to “re”: revisit, review, restore and reboot!

Mercury is the planet that rules communications so, when it is retrograde, many associate it with misunderstandings, problems with technology and delays, as if having an overall impact on productivity. From another perspective, Mercury is also known as the Messenger of the Gods (Hermes in Greek mythology) so, symbolically, when it’s retrograde it has important messages to give to us. This period can also be seen as a great time for integration, to stop and listen, to meditate and reflect.

Total Lunar Eclipse on September 27-28, 2015

We are currently in between two eclipses, the Partial Solar Eclipse on September 12-13 and the upcoming Total Lunar Eclipse on September 27-28. Eclipses come in two: solar eclipses happen in New Moon and Lunar Eclipses happen in Full Moon.

What makes this Total Lunar Eclipse more special is the fact that it coincides with a Supermoon, when the moon is closer to the Earth (perigee) and it looks slightly bigger in appearance. Last time both events happened together was in 1982. During a Total Lunar Eclipse the moon gets a reddish color for which some call it as “Blood Moon”.

You can check here when it will be visible in your area. As you know, I love taking photos of the moon so, weather permitting, I will have my camera ready! Crossing fingers, as the forecast shows rain here…

Eclipses “lift the veils” and generally bring along change, which may refer to endings. And endings are at the same time new beginnings!

Since the Sun is in Libra and the Moon in Aries, we may feel overwhelmed and off-balance in our relationships around those days. It’s a good opportunity to see ourselves reflected in others and connect with our own shadows as we let go of expectations and self-limiting beliefs to break with old patterns that no longer serve us.

While an eclipse happens on a planetary level, each person experiences it differently depending on where it falls in one’s natal chart indicating which personal aspects may be activated.

WORKSHOP: Ignite Your Inner Diamond

If you are in Houston, hope to see you in one or both workshops during Julie Umpleby’s visit from the UK on October 2 and 3, 2015. You can click on the Sacred Relationship Diamond Light Code or here to see the details on the second page. The invitation will be sent to local contacts separately.

As these shifts happen during this White Dog Wavespell, may we all be more kind and loving to oneself and to one another, now and always!

Happy Autumn in the North and Spring in the South!

In Lak’esh means “I am another yourself!”, a Mayan greeting that recognizes the Divine in each living Being. It’s a message of Unity that reminds us that, when we give, we are also receiving. In this way, the Mayan honored and respected each other, reinforcing the belief that we are all interconnected: what we do to others and to our environment will also affect ourselves in the end…

Munay means both ‘Love’ and ‘Beauty’ in Quechua, the language of the Incas. Munay, translated as ‘To love’, is one of the three principles of the Andean way.
