Illuminating Yellow Sun Wavespell

HAPPY FIRE MONKEY LUNAR YEAR!

As the Year of the Sheep (Goat or Ram) is about to end, many cultures in Asia will be celebrating the New Lunar Year of the Fire Monkey beginning of February. Action, busyness, enthusiasm, change and innovation will be the energies for this year, as we consciously try to pace ourselves in order to avoid overdoing things! While multifaceted, agile and filled with excitement, Fire Monkey can also be volatile, competitive and impulsive for which we may be challenged with opportunities to practice patience and stay calm.

The twelve signs of the Chinese zodiac complement each year with one of these five elements: Water, Wood, Fire, Earth and Metal and the same sign-element combination repeats itself every 60 years. The previous Monkey year (Wood element) was in 2004 and Fire Monkey was in 1956.

The Yellow Sun Wavespell is the fourth Wavespell of this cycle. From January 28 to February 9, 2016, we are invited to shine in our own Light and feel warmth in our hearts! Let’s see what each of the Wavespell’s thirteen days represent in this current cycle by combining daily the Tzolkin’s 20 glyphs with one of the 13 numbers:

Thursday, January 28, Yellow Magnetic Sun
Purpose: the first day of any Wavespell sets the purpose for the specific period of 13 days. During the Wavespell of the Yellow Sun, the purpose is to reconnect with the source of life, regain our authority and bring clarity to any misunderstandings we have in our relationships. What do you want to illuminate in the next 13 days?

Friday, January 29, Red Lunar Dragon
Challenge: the second day of any Wavespell is the one that shows us the extremes. As we nurture ourselves and initiate new projects, we shine. Do you ask for help when needed or try to do everything yourself and end up feeling too tired to start something new?

Saturday, January 30, White Electric Wind
Bonding: the third day of any Wavespell is the one that “connects the dots”. When we feel free to move like the wind and we share with others our true feelings and needs, we shine. How can you be of service as you communicate your truth to your own self and others?

Sunday, January 31, Blue Self-Exiting Night
Shaping: the fourth day of any Wavespell is the one that gives shape and form. When we feel worthy of abundance on all levels and pay attention to our dreams, we shine. Do you take time for stillness when giving form to your projects?

Monday, February 1, Yellow Overtone Seed
Empowering: the fifth day of any Wavespell is the one that empowers. When we allow ourselves to get out of our comfort zone and grow to our greatest potential, we shine. What is keeping you from feeling confident to blossom?

Tuesday, February 2, Red Rhythmic Serpent
Balancing: the sixth day of any Wavespell is the one that brings balance. When we shed what no longer serves us and we follow our instincts, we shine. What are you passionate about which helps you to restore balance?

Wednesday, February 3, White Resonant World Bridger
Aligning: the seventh day of any Wavespell is the one that helps us to become centered. White World Bridger is the power of forgiveness and of closing cycles. Are you bridging your worlds to enter in resonance with life?

Thursday, February 4, Blue Galactic Hand
Integrating: the eighth day of any Wavespell is the one for integration. As we saw in the previous Wavespell, Blue Hand is the hand of healing and “hands-on”. To feel harmony and shine, body, mind, heart and soul must be integrated. Are you taking care of your “pending things list” as you act with integrity?

Friday, February 5, Yellow Solar Star
Pulsing: the ninth day of any Wavespell is the one that gives the last push prior to manifestation. When we awaken our inner artist and bring more beauty into our days, we shine. How can you use your creativity today to put things in motion?

Saturday, February 6, Red Planetary Moon
Manifesting: the tenth day of any Wavespell is the one that manifests. As we flow in our inner waters and embrace the divine feminine, we shine. This day is an invitation to manifest things that make us happy. What makes you happy?

Sunday, February 7, White Spectral Dog
Releasing: the eleventh day of any Wavespell is the one that liberates. Universal love for all existence goes beyond the love between two people. When we feel Munay, we shine. What are you ready to let go of in order to continue opening your heart with compassion?

Monday, February 8, Blue Crystal Monkey
Sharing: the twelfth day of any Wavespell is the one for cooperation. When we play and have fun, we shine. Synchronically, this day is the beginning of the Fire Monkey Lunar Year. Lots of Monkey energy! How would you like to share a joyful time with others in this day?

Tuesday, February 9, Yellow Cosmic Human
Transcending: the thirteenth day of any Wavespell is the one that gives closure. As we become the architects of our own lives and make wiser choices for oneself and the highest good of all, we shine. It’s time to awaken your inner flame and create the life you want!

Note: The invitation each morning is to move the thirteen joints as you connect with their meaning for this specific Wavespell. After you go through the 13 joints, focus your attention on the energy of the day and allow yourself to be guided on what to do with it. Maybe you get inspired later during the day, so just let it happen. Each glyph has many layers and can be interpreted and experienced in different ways. With practice, it will become clearer on how to use it in ways that works for you.

Happy Illumination!

In Lak’esh means “I am another yourself!”, a Mayan greeting that recognizes the Divine in each living Being. It’s a message of Unity that reminds us that, when we give, we are also receiving. In this way, the Mayan honored and respected each other, reinforcing the belief that we are all interconnected: what we do to others and to our environment will also affect ourselves in the end…

Munay means both ‘Love’ and ‘Beauty’ in Quechua, the language of the Incas. Munay, translated as ‘To love’, is one of the three principles of the Andean way.
