Tomorrow (8/16/11) the Wavespell of the Blue Eagle starts, thirteen days to fly high towards an expansive consciousness!

This time I would like to share with you my recent trip to Peru, which has helped me to detach from the mundane, expand my vision and take an evolutionary step to the next level in my path. As I took “only” 2500 photos, I will share a few now and some more in the following Wavespell.

Trip to Peru – July 10 to August 10, 2011

Wow! What a wonderful, intense and special month it was… Not sure where to start as so much have happened in these three Wavespells. I left in the Yellow Castle while still in the Year of the Red Overtone Moon, and came back in the Green Castle after celebrating my birthday, the Day out of Time, and the beginning of the White Rhythmic Wizard New Year based on the 13Moon Calendar. All simple and sacred experiences, and certainly transformational and magical!

It was a truly profound trip of initiations, insights, deep connection on a soul level with my own essence, Mother Nature and its elements, animals, native people and other beautiful persons from Peru and other parts of the world.

Munay-Ki Rites and Deepening Munay-Ki

The main reason for the trip was to learn the Munay-Ki rites at Paz y Luz in Pisac, Sacred Valley, and to receive them in the traditional way from a Q’ero shaman in sacred places during the Deepening Munay-Ki.

Both groups were diverse and international, including some from San Antonio, Texas!

From Quechua origin, Munay-Ki means “I love you”. These Initiatory Rites are part of the Shaman’s Path of the Q’ero Nation, the descendants of the Inca, indigenous people of the holy mountains of the Andes in Peru. They are delivered in the form of energetic transmissions and are considered as codes to heal and transform our luminous energy field (LEF) to become the new humans (homo luminous) in these prophetic times.

During the Deepening Munay-Ki, we received three levels of karpays or initiations (Pampa Mesayoq, Alto Mesayoq and Kuraq Akulleq) in the traditional way from a Q’ero shaman couple, becoming in this way a Paq’o. Interesting enough, the least to say, all original photos from the initiations have rainbows and pronounced light spheres around….

I will incorporate these rites as part of my practice and transmit them during private sessions. In the future, I am planning to teach them in small groups as well. To receive the traditional rites during the Deepening, you must first be initiated in the Munay-Ki nine rites.

The first workshop was very special and emotional. Diane Dunn, owner of Paz y Luz, had just arrived to Pisac after her husband Christer unexpectedly passed away from a pulmonary embolism suffered a few weeks earlier while they were both traveling in the US. Diane held a beautiful ceremony for him where people shared heart stories on how wonderful and loving man he was. Some weeks before leaving on that trip, Christer made a big heart with stones, where the ceremony took place.

It was a true blessing for me to personally meet with Diane in this moment of my journey, with whom I felt identified in so many ways. I had the chance to make a little video with her where she spoke about her path, her first book and how Paz y Luz was created. I will share it with you soon.

Other initiations

During the Munay-Ki and Deepening Munay-Ki, we worked with the four elements (Earth, Water, Air, Fire), which helped me to strengthen my connection with Nature and develop my previous knowledge on the Medicine Wheel and indigenous traditions.

I also got during this trip my Second Reiki degree and learned new tools in the Mayan Calendar, all of which was very important for my own use and to share them with others.

And, although not originally planned, I had my first experience with master medicine plants participating in San Pedro and Ayahuasca ceremonies. I had been to Peru many times before and never felt drawn to it. This time it was different as it evolved as part of a natural process I have been going through. I realized how much confusion and misinformation exists and, unfortunately, there is a whole market around it for those wanting to have a “mystic experience”, visions or just out of curiosity. In reality, those are sacred plants used for thousands of years for healing purposes and I am happy I connected with genuine proposals and had a very peaceful and loving experience.

In Lak’esh means “I am another yourself!”, a Mayan greeting that recognizes the Divine in each living Being. It’s a message of Unity that reminds us that, when we give, we are also receiving. In this way, the Mayan honored and respected each other, reinforcing the belief that we are all interconnected: what we do to others and to our environment will also affect ourselves in the end…
