UPCOMING HOUSTON EVENTS – Invitations at the bottom!

Happy Red Earth Wavespell and beginning of the Yellow Castle! It’s time to stay grounded and present in the moment as we enjoy and share the lessons learned during the previous Castle.

These photos were taken in Peru where you can see the same areas in different months of the year; it is so beautiful to experience Pachamama, Mother Earth, as she goes through all her cycles!

As we are about to celebrate the Equinox later this month, I want to share with you this powerful message for reflection (from CI’s Humanifesto, you can read the rest here):

“Nature Doesn’t Need People. People Need Nature.
Human beings are part of nature.
Nature is not dependent on human beings to exist.
Human beings, on the other hand, are totally
dependent on nature to exist.”

Nature is Speaking by Conservation International (CI)

Conservation International created a series of videos called “Nature is Speaking” that serve as a great reminder that we are all part of Nature! The voices behind the beautiful images are from famous actors as Julia Roberts, Harrison Ford and Robert Redford. You can see them by clicking on this image:

It is important, more than ever, to become aware and mindful of our role in the whole. Instead of waiting and expecting others to change, especially governments and corporations, we are all invited to modify our habits and take care of our beloved planet daily. It doesn’t matter how big or small our actions are, every single one counts! #NatureIsSpeaking

In Lak’esh means “I am another yourself!”, a Mayan greeting that recognizes the Divine in each living Being. It’s a message of Unity that reminds us that, when we give, we are also receiving. In this way, the Mayan honored and respected each other, reinforcing the belief that we are all interconnected: what we do to others and to our environment will also affect ourselves in the end…

Munay means both ‘Love’ and ‘Beauty’ in Quechua, the language of the Incas. Munay, translated as ‘To love’, is one of the three principles of the Andean way.

I invite you to subscribe to the series of messages on Wavespells sent every 13 days. You can read what it is about by clicking on Subscribing to? and, for additional information, please visit my website.
