Blue Eagle Wavespell of Vision

by Mariela Maya

p.s. I am aaalmost ready to share with you what I have been working on lately, and why I am so delayed in responding to emails and in posting my last two Wavespells messages… Please bear with me for just a few more days : -)

The Tzolkin, Sacred Mayan Calendar, is a cycle of 260 days composed of 20 glyphs by 13 numbers. Each day combines a glyph and a number giving to it a specific meaning as an invitation to connect with certain aspects of our being. Every 13 days, there is a shift of energy and the glyph that falls on the first day sets the purpose for the following almost two weeks. In the modern application of the Tzolkin, the 13-day period is called a Wavespell, and there are 20 Wavespells in a cycle. If all this is new to you, the best approach is by playing with it instead of trying to understand technical concepts. You will see how magically and synchronically everything unfolds!

The Blue Eagle Wavespell is the 19th Wavespell out of twenty in the current cycle based on the modern count. From August 11-23, 2016, we are invited to spread our wings and “fly higher”! Let’s see what each of the Wavespell’s day represents in this current cycle by combining the Tzolkin’s 20 glyphs with one of the 13 numbers.

Thursday, August 11, Blue Magnetic Eagle
Purpose: the first day of any Wavespell sets the purpose for the specific period of 13 days. During the Wavespell of the Blue Eagle, the purpose is to detach from the mundane in order to expand our vision and see the big picture. What do you see?

Friday, August 12, Yellow Lunar Warrior
Challenge: the second day of any Wavespell is the one that shows us the extremes. Sometimes our sight gets blurry and fear blocks us from moving forward. What are you afraid of in order to make the next step?

Saturday, August 13, Red Electric Earth
Bonding: the third day of any Wavespell is the one that “connects the dots”. When we are present in the here and now, it is easier to feel grounded and evolve. Are you noticing and acknowledging the amazing synchronicities unfolding on your path?

Sunday, August 14, White Self-Exiting Mirror
Shaping: the fourth day of any Wavespell is the one that gives shape and form. When we use our discernment to mold the life we want, we only keep what is in alignment with whom we are. What are you ready to cut and let go of?

Monday, August 15, Blue Overtone Storm
Empowering: the fifth day of any Wavespell is the one that empowers. When we give ourselves permission to “unhook from the drama” and fly higher to expand our vision, we transform! In which aspects would you like to change to feel empowered?

Tuesday, August 16, Yellow Rhythmic Sun
Balancing: the sixth day of any Wavespell is the one that brings balance. When you do what you love and let your spirit soar, you shine brightly like the Sun! Which people and environments help you to feel balanced and see things more clearly?

Wednesday, August 17, Red Resonant Dragon
Aligning: the seventh day of any Wavespell is the one that helps us to become centered. When we take care of ourselves on all levels, we feel centered and strong to take off into a new flight. Have you been pampering yourself lately?

Thursday, August 18, White Galactic Wind
Integrating: the eighth day of any Wavespell is the one for integration. As we continue “flying” into new directions, the wind helps us to be inspired and enjoy our freedom. Are you listening to your inner dialogue?

Today we connect with Mama Killa, Grandmother Moon, as we gather in a sacred full moon drum circle infused with our intentions in love and gratitude.

Friday, August 19, Blue Solar Night
Pulsing: the ninth day of any Wavespell is the one that gives the last push prior to manifestation. Visualizing what we want to manifest and keeping that vision present helps us to get closer to making our dreams come true. What do you want to attract into your life at the moment?

Saturday, August 20, Yellow Planetary Seed
Manifesting: the tenth day of any Wavespell is the one that manifests. Being the visionary, Eagle energy allows us to see the potential in things so we can get out of our “shell” and grow. Can you also see the potential in yourself?

Sunday, August 21, Red Spectral Serpent
Releasing: the eleventh day of any Wavespell is the one that liberates. Eagles soar in the skies and serpents thrive in the gardens. Symbolically, the feathered serpent brings Heaven on Earth, as we continue shedding what obstructs our flight. Which “trees” are impeding you from seeing the forest?

Monday, August 22, White Crystal World Bridger
Sharing: the twelfth day of any Wavespell is the one for cooperation. When we see the big picture and let go of those “trees” that were blocking us, we bridge the spiritual and material worlds. How can you share your vision with others today?

Tuesday, August 23, Blue Cosmic Hand
Transcending: the thirteenth day of any Wavespell is the one that gives closure. And finally, as we see the totality of what is and start shifting our perception, we awaken the healer within and accomplish what we have aimed for!

“See” you again in a few days :- )

Happy Flight!

In Lak’esh means “I am another yourself!”, a Mayan greeting that recognizes the Divine in each living Being. It’s a message of Unity that reminds us that, when we give, we are also receiving. In this way, the Mayan honored and respected each other, reinforcing the belief that we are all interconnected: what we do to others and to our environment will also affect ourselves in the end…

Munay means both ‘Love’ and ‘Beauty’ in Quechua, the language of the Incas. Munay, translated as ‘To love’, is one of the three principles of the Andean way.
